The word ordinarily denotes one who subsists by physical labor. American Surety Co. of New York v. Stuart, Tex.Civ.App., 151 S.W.2d 886, 888.
One who, as a means of livelihood, performs work and labor for another. Person who follows any legitimate employment or discharges the duties of any office. Devillier v. City of Opelousas, La.App., 247 So.2d 412, 416.
